Welcome to Coucou Food Market, a delightful gem nestled in the charming Neuhausen/Nymphenburg district of Munich. More than just a café, Coucou is a vibrant culinary hub that captures the essence of French patisserie while offering an eclectic menu that caters to various tastes and dietary preferences. Located at Nymphenburger Str. 69, the market is easily accessible and welcomes both locals and visitors to indulge in a relaxing food experience.

Step inside Coucou Food Market, and you're immediately enveloped in a warm and inviting atmosphere. With options for both indoor and outdoor seating, you can enjoy a leisurely breakfast or lunch while soaking in the neighborhood's friendly ambiance. As you sit back and unwind, be prepared to be tempted by the tantalizing aromas wafting through the air, promising a culinary adventure that will leave your taste buds singing.

The menu is a delightful blend of offerings, drawing inspiration from classic French cuisine while incorporating local flair. The croissants and pain au chocolat are frequently lauded as some of the best in Munich, as noted by delighted patrons like Ana Moya, who emphatically declares them a must-have for breakfast. Pair these flaky delights with one of their expertly brewed coffees, sourced from the renowned Man vs Machine, which promises a mild yet flavorful experience—perfect for those who prefer a gentler coffee fix.

On weekends, special events bring an extra layer of excitement to the market, as mentioned by customer Frankie Lottering. Whether it's showcasing unique culinary creations or hosting local vendors, be on the lookout for something special during your visit. Meanwhile, for those craving a taste of Mexico, the tacos served on Thursdays and Saturdays are a delightful surprise, praised by customers like Erick Daniel Pano Paniagua. With homemade sauces and quality ingredients, these dishes transport you straight to the heart of Mexico.

While the experience at Coucou Food Market is largely positive, a few customers have noted areas for improvement, particularly the service during peak times. Charel T. mentions the queue on Sundays when only one staff member is managing the bustling café. However, this slight inconvenience pales in comparison to the joy of savoring their delectable menu offerings. The community vibe, friendly staff, and inviting atmosphere make the wait worthwhile.

Indulge in their selection of vegan soups or elevate your lunch with a hearty salad loaded with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. And don't skip dessert! Culinary delights like the carrot cake and brownies have customers like Olive coming back for more, with many declaring Coucou's offerings the best they've ever tasted.

In summary, if you're on the lookout for a café that combines charming ambiance with a diverse menu brimming with flavor, look no further than Coucou Food Market. With its emphasis on quality ingredients and a commitment to providing a unique dining experience, it's a stop that you simply cannot miss when exploring Munich. Whether you’re there to chat with friends, indulge in some tasty treats, or simply escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life, Coucou Food Market is sure to leave a lasting impression.

Very nice place to get the French feeling in Munich! One of the best croissants and baguettes in Munich. The coffee is also very delicious! The place accepts cards and also has seating inside and outside. Only 4 stars because - especially at Sunday - only one person is responsible for the entire place (brew the coffee, serve the food, make the payment etc.) You need to queue for a long time also if there are only 2 people ordering. All in all - a very good place and I can only recommend this place. But do not go there if you in a hurry

I've been there couple of times for the tacos (they are there sometimes on Thursdays, but normally every Saturdays). The taste is really good, feels like Mexico! I especially love the rajas, and the nopales tacos. The sauce is amazing, home-made and really spicy, as it should be. I also love the fact that you can add chicharron and guacamole to the tacos. Carlos, the cook, is a super nice person and you can definitely enjoy having a chat with him. When he prepares barbacoa, now, that's next level, and I honestly don't know anyone else doing it in Munich. Totally recommended, you will get addicted to them!!

We love to have good croissants and pain chocolat for breakfast during the weekend and in the ones from Coucou Food Market are a really good choice if you love the French patisserie.

Cappuccino with vegan milk was really great. Pain au chocolat was small, but good. Croissant also was good. The only problem was tee - I asked for mint tee, but they bring the jasmine. I noticed it too late that the tea had already turned bitter.

My go-to place for delicious oat milk coffee and croissants in Munich, Neuhausen. Love the carrot cake and pain au chocolate. Coffee comes locally from Man vs machine so coffee is mild and flavorful and not super strong (like Italian coffee) love it! I’ve also come for lunch love the vegan soups and stews. They constantly enhance the menu and bring out new things, such as new home-made cakes or lunch. They offer decaf coffee and it’s really good Vegan red-beet crepe with avocado and spinach Coucou is a food market so if you’re looking for a “cozy cafe”, I recommend you try out Tanpopo around the corner. I’m waiting for the day when you will offer avocado bread and OJ but for now all I can say: Well done Denis & Marie!! You guys rock

The pizza is quite good! However, definitely order a dessert while you’re there. I’ve had the brownies and chocolate torte and they are delicious!! Edit: I went back for more dessert and the carrot cake is the best I’ve ever eaten!!! I want more!!
